Illusion - 'A need to disguise the emptiness within'

An illusion is distinguished from a hallucination, an experience that seems to originate without an external source of stimulation. For example, a child who perceives a tree branch at night as if they are goblins may be said to be having an illusion. Illusions are special perceptual experiences in which information arising from “real” external stimuli leads to an incorrect perception, or false impression, of the object or event from which the stimulation comes.

It is a fact of neuroscience that everything we experience is a figment of our imagination. Although our sensations feel accurate and truthful, they do not necessarily reproduce the physical reality of the outside world. So, the question is why do we see illusions? Is it because we want to see them or is it generated by the unconscious mind of ourselves, which we want actually to occur in the real world?

So, personally I feel there are many reasons which could be accountable for why we actually see or what we can call it as something which the unconscious brain makes, kind of like a virtual framework so that we can make something happen which we actually picturized in our dreams, or while daydreaming or anything similar to that, I feel that it's sort of personal choice to see that happening since deep inside our heart we want something so desperately to happen in reality, that our brain starts to create a virtual architecture of a picturesque which has no virtue of its own in reality.

For instance, We all watch movies, especially Bollywood movies, and if ever I would have to define Bollywood movies in one phrase or statement it would be 'Melodramatic & Over Expression of Feelings', I don't know, how many people would agree or disagree with me, but one thing is for sure that Bollywood movies are perfect examples to showcase Illusions or situations which don't exist and can never exist in future too. Because unlike illusion & movies, life is not a map where all the points & destinations have been marked, & where we know already what's gonna happen next, It's reality, and Virtual things & illusions will remain as they are, it can never replace the reality, that's the bitter truth. Accept it.
